The supervisory board of Westfalenhallen Dortmund GmbH has given its consent to the construction of a new fair hall with a usable floor space of 10,600 sqm for 28.6 million euros. Construction work will start in October 2002, and the opening will be in February 2004. Westfalenhallen Dortmund has eight fair halls with 48,270 sqm of space. The recently modernised adjacent convention centre has 29 rooms for up to 10,000 people. www.westfalenhallen.de
