ICCA UK & Ireland 2025 Conference in Leeds

The ICCA UK & Ireland Annual Conference has wrapped up at Leeds, under the theme "Business Beyond Borders." The event brought together over 120 delegates, including long-standing members, first-time attendees, and more than 30 students.

The conference at Cloth Hall Court featured a programme of keynote presentations, panel discussions, and debates on topics such as sustainability, digital transformation, and inclusivity. Sessions included a keynote address by Jamie Jones-Buchanan MBE on the role of sport in social change, a debate on the use of public funds for conferences, and a panel on neurodiversity that introduced a new toolkit for enhancing event accessibility. Networking opportunities included a pre-conference evening at Banyan, a gala dinner at the Royal Armouries, and guided city tours of Leeds.

Industry Perspectives and Networking

The event was supported by several industry sponsors and provided a platform for discussion on current trends and challenges within the meetings industry. Comments from ICCA UK & Ireland leadership highlighted the importance of collaboration and international insights in shaping future business practices. Looking ahead, anticipation is building for the 2026 Annual Conference to be held in Edinburgh from 11–13 February 2026.
