Italian trade fair organizer, the Italian Exhibition Group (IEG), has founded a subsidiary in Germany. The aim of IEG Germany is to build relationships with the players in the German trade fair industry and to bring exhibitors and visitor delegations to the IEG trade fairs in Italy. 

Thomas Grenot will lead the new group. Born in France in 1977, Grenot specialized in the organization of B2B events in the sports sector after completing his two master’s degrees in commerce and sales and marketing. After moving to Germany in 2004, he worked as a marketing and promotion manager for German trade fair companies.

IEG is a listed trade fair company from the Rimini and Vicenza trade fairs. In the last pre-Corona year 2019, the company achieved sales of over 178.6 million Euros and was thus among the 30 largest trade fair companies worldwide. IEG already has foreign subsidiaries in the United Arab Emirates, in North America and in Brazil.
