Company Events. To mark the annual celebrations of Kärcher, the global market leader in cleaning technology based in Winnenden near Stuttgart, the Alfred-Kärcher-Hall at Messe Stuttgart was transformed into an exclusive gala location. Over an area of 10,500m², around 2,600 employees were entertained to a programme of fast-paced performances that included light painting and trampoline acts on three separate stages. The evening was rounded off with a sit-down dinner followed by a party in the specially designed lounge area. For this event alone, 170 people installed 12 kilometres of cabling, 12 truckloads of technology and 8 truckloads of furnishings.
Events of this magnitude have long since become a regular occurrence in the halls of Messe Stuttgart. Company events on the premises range from highly confidential advisory board meetings to perfectly staged product presentations as well as anniversary celebrations for up to 4,000 guests with elegant lounges, show stages and formal dinners. “More and more companies are discovering the diverse possibilities of the modern trade fair architecture here”, states Stefan Lohnert, Division Director Guest Events at Messe Stuttgart. “Of course, being able to provide an extremely professional overall package from catering to lighting and sound equipment from a single source helps to convince our customers that Messe Stuttgart is an event location of the very highest standard.” This is confirmed by Hendrik Altena, Project Manager at marbet, which is the agency responsible for staging Kärcher’s annual celebrations: “When we worked together with Messe Stuttgart, everything was perfect. The project management there really pulled out all the stops to ensure that everything ran like clockwork.”
In the past year alone, the Guest Events division has welcomed 26 corporate customers who have used the halls, ICS or open-air grounds for their customer or employee events.
