The Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC) concluded 2024 with remarkable achievements, hosting over 1,600 events and attracting more than 1.1 million delegates. The Centre’s activities contributed an estimated RM1 billion to the local economy, solidifying its position as a premier destination for business events in the region. Notable gatherings included the 17th World Chinese Entrepreneur Convention and the International Sustainable Energy Summit, among others.

Focus on Innovation and Sustainability

2024 also saw significant upgrades to KLCC’s facilities, including modernised interiors, enhanced technology, and a redesigned on-site kitchen. Sustainability remained a priority, with the Centre achieving a 100% food waste diversion rate and launching community-focused initiatives such as the “Sustainable September” campaign. As KLCC prepares to celebrate its 20th anniversary in 2025, it looks forward to hosting major events, including the ASEAN Summit, and continues to focus on innovation, sustainability, and exceptional service delivery.
