Appointment. Suntec Singapore International Convention & Exhibition Services Pte Ltd (Suntec Singapore) announced that it has appointed Mr Arun Madhok as Chief Executive Officer (CEO), a role he has assumed on an acting basis since the former CEO stepped down in June 2012.
Mr. John Lim, Group Chief Executive Officer of ARA Asset Management Limited (“ARA”) said, “Arun has been an integral part of Suntec Singapore’s management team in the last few years and his appointment ensures continuity for the team running one of Singapore’s premier address for MICE events both locally and globally. Arun is capable and well-qualified to lead the Suntec Singapore team, which will benefit immensely from his business acumen, experience and proven leadership skills.”
Mr. Madhok joined Suntec Singapore in 2009 as Director, Business Development. He has played a key role in developing, steering and coordinating the emerging strategies and the modernization plans for Suntec Singapore. He has also driven internal changes and improvements to ensure customer satisfaction through service excellence. Mr Madhok has been instrumental in spearheading Suntec Singapore’s current makeover into a state-of-the-art convention and exhibition venue.
