Academic rigour combined with practical industry experience

This collaboration, celebrated on 10 April at VŠE’s Academic Club, opens up new opportunities for students and industry professionals alike. The memorandum of cooperation combines academic rigour with practical industry experience, with the aim of enriching education, research and real-world application.

Key components include exchange programmes and internships for students, joint research and educational projects reflecting sector needs, and expert lectures and workshops delivered by PCB leaders.

“Empower students in the meetings industry”

Dean Martina Jirankova emphasised the partnership’s potential to empower students in the meetings industry, highlighting the vital role of academia-industry collaboration.

Roman Muska, Managing Director of the PCB, reiterated this commitment, emphasising the bureau’s dedication to nurturing new talent and advancing education in the field: “Promoting education and nurturing new talents with a perspective of a career in the meetings industry is one of the PCB’s strategic goals; therefore, we are very pleased that today’s signing of the memorandum confirms our mutual interest in expanding our existing collaboration significantly, especially in the area of student internships and joint research and educational projects.”
