Berlin. Site Germany’s traditional pre-ITB Berlin incentive get-together for Site members exhibiting at or attending ITB Berlin took place on the evening of 4th March 2014 at the spectacular KPM Royal Porcelain Manufactory – Berlin’s oldest working manufactory. The KPM Royal Porcelain Manufactory celebrated its 250th anniversary last year and stands today for the ultimate in luxury. Connoisseurs of “white gold” appreciate its clear lines and rich decoration.
After words of welcome from Berlin Convention Office, Site Germany and KPM over 30 Site members and guests from seven countries were treated to an exclusive guided tour of the KPM World exhibition which illustrates KPM’s fascinating history, architecture and porcelain and offers first-hand insights into the secrets of producing and painting porcelain by hand. Participants then enjoyed pleasant and relaxed business networking over a delicious Flying Buffet served by the elegant Berlin event catering company, Floris Catering.
