The Queen Sirikit National Convention Center (QSNCC) is scheduled to open this September and is already attracting some “major international events to the heart of downtown Bangkok” with reportedly 13 million expected visitors in its first year.

Among the events already scheduled is the APEC Summit 2022 (Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation) on 14 and 19 November. Informa Markets has also booked six major events. Overall, more than 130 international and national events are being confirmed at present, according to a press release.

With more than 300,000 square meters of total space, featuring “cutting-edge technology” and facilities with international standards, the QSNCC has been designed to offer flexible solutions for event planners. The seamless floor area with no pillars yields ample space and flexible logistical access. Organisers would benefit from two-floor loading zones and can host multiple events simultaneously.

Sutichai Bunditvorapoom, Executive Vice President-Marketing and Sales, N.C.C. Management and Development Co., Ltd., the operator of QSNCC said: “Following the reopening of Thailand and now that international border restrictions have been lifted, the last quarter of 2022 will be an exciting time for QSNCC to start with this brand-new venue. The response of major international event organisers in booking so many conferences and events before we open is tremendous and a wonderful testimonial to the venue.”

See QSNCC’s website for more information.
