From April 2007 Palais des Congr?s Mont des Arts will undergo a revamp. “The international meeting centre will reopen on 20 September 2009, with twice its old room capacity and a contemporary design,” explains Marc Van den Broeke, Director of the Palais. Among other things, the investment of approx. 60m euros will be used to modernise the two auditoriums with 1,200 and 500 seats and add another for 500 delegates. In addition, a further storey and a building will be integrated with 20 rooms for ten to 150 people. And a 4,000-sqm ballroom is also in the offing. www.palcobru.be
