In reaction of the highly infectious respiratory tract illness SARS (Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome), which has its main appearance in Hong Kong, Singapore, China and Vietnam, Frankfurt fair plans the following measures to protect exhibitors and visitors during the coming weeks:
– the medical stations are supplemented with on infections specialized personnel,
– protective masks are given out if desired,
– for suspicious cases an isolating area has been installed.
Exhibitors and visitors will be handed an information leaflet concerning these measures, also containing contact places in case of emergency.
