Munich. Up to 9 October 2009 the Imperial Dinner Train, a replica of the royal private court salon train dating back to 1891, will take its guests on a gourmet trip. From Munich Central Station the “Palace on Rails” is scheduled to travel through the Alps to Füssen. The Palazzo team caters for guests with a specially composed four-course menu by star-winning chef Harald Wohlfahrt. The six wagons have 150 seats, and the trip takes just under seven hours. The ticket costs 249 euros per person, without drinks. www.dinnertrain.de
