Sebastian Kamp has been employed at Messe Essen since 2013 and most recently headed the Infrastructural Facility Management department. The 35-year-old civil engineer has, among other things, supported the modernization project Neue Messe Essen, which was successfully completed in 2019, as project manager and is now managing – in addition to event technology – the development of the site into a climate-neutral trade fair venue.

Torben Wegner started at Messe Essen in 2010 and has been responsible for generating new business ever since. Since 2015, he has headed the Corporate Development department and successively expanded the event portfolio. New business will continue to be one of the focal points of the newly created Corporate Development, IT & Digitalization business unit. At the same time, the strategic alignment of the IT infrastructure and the implementation of digitization projects are among the core tasks of the 38-year-old.
