Sir Rocco Forte will convert Villa Speyer in Frankfurt into a 163-room Villa Kennedy for 70 million euros. Plans include conference and banqueting rooms for 250 people and seven meeting rooms for 40 people each. Near the Brandenburg Gate in Berlin the 146-room Hotel de Rome will boast six conference suites. The two hotels are slated to open in spring 2006. www.roccofortehotels.com
