The XXI World Congress on Safety and Health at Work 2017, organised by the Ministry of Manpower (MOM), the International Labour Organization (ILO) and the International Social Security Association (ISSA), will take place in Singapore from September 3rd to 6th, 2017.
The abstract submission deadline has been extended to January 16th, 2017. Those interested may choose to submit an abstract for symposia (oral) or poster presentation based on symposia topics. The abstract submission will be evaluated based on relevance to topic, innovative character or originality, use for field, transferability as well as structure and language.
XXI World Congress on Safety and Health at Work 2017 is the biggest gathering of OSH practitioners, researchers, business and government leaders.
Organisations can present media projects to international safety and health professionals at the International Media Festival for Prevention (IMFP). The submission deadline for IMFP will be on January 31st, 2017. Media on safety and health at work in all languages and produced from January 1st, 2013 can be submitted. Shortlisted productions will be screened during the Congress.
Since 1990, IMFP has been taking place alongside the World Congress for Safety and Health at Work. The festival offers an overview of films and multimedia productions about safety and health at work from all over the world.
