Khiri Travel Staff Achieve GSTC Sustainability Certification

Khiri Travel has certified ten employees across eight Asian markets with the GSTC Professional Certificate in Sustainable Tourism, advancing its target of full GSTC accreditation by late 2025. The certification remains a lifetime personal qualification for each staff member.

As part of its sustainability goals, Khiri Travel enrolled general managers, office and sustainability coordinators, and six ‘Green Team’ spokespeople in a four‑week Global Sustainable Tourism Council (GSTC) course. The newly certified staff now possess in‑depth knowledge of global sustainability standards and practical application methods.

GSTC Professional Certificate Training

Between March and April 2025, participants completed the ST 2503‑EN online programme—featuring live sessions, interactive modules, and expert guest lectures—via the TrainingAid platform. This training strengthens Khiri’s internal sustainability management system across its 18 offices in eight Asian countries and equips local Green Teams to lead measurable eco‑initiatives.
