Associations Forum Celebrates 2024 Awards Dinner

At the 2024 Association Awards™ Dinner, Associations Forum honored outstanding contributions across the sector. Winners included AusIMM for Association of the Year and the Australian College of Nurse Practitioners for Small Association of the Year.

On November 7, 2024, the Australian Associations Forum hosted the annual Association Awards™ Dinner to recognize excellence among associations and leaders making impactful contributions. “The 2024 Association Awards have been a celebration of the substantial achievements of many associations as demonstrated by the high standard of all nominations received this year,” stated CEO John Peacock AM.

Honoring Associations’ Remarkable Contributions

Major awards included Association of the Year to AusIMM for its enduring impact in mining, and Turnaround of the Year to AITD, which transformed operations to prevent insolvency. Additionally, the Change Management Institute received the Association External Campaign award for a high-impact professional training campaign. For their long and exemplary service to associations, the following outstanding individuals were inducted into the Associations Hall of Fame™: Anita Hobson-Powell, Anthony Ellard, Chris Champion, Denis Mootz, Finola Carey, John Mitchell, Karyn Prior, Susanne Tegen, Tim Sheehy and Vivienne Miller.
