Dubai Secures Record 437 Global Events

Dubai successfully secured 437 global business events in 2024, marking a 20% increase in event bids compared to the previous year. Over 210,000 delegates are expected to attend these events, contributing to the city's economy and supporting the Dubai Economic Agenda, D33.

Dubai Business Events (DBE), the city’s official convention bureau under the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism (DET), led efforts to secure a diverse range of high-profile conferences, corporate meetings, and incentive programs in 2024. his growth reflects the city’s ongoing efforts to position itself as a competitive destination for international meetings, conferences, and incentive programs.

Collaboration with Public and Private Sectors

DBE worked with various stakeholders across sectors to capture business events for Dubai. Key events secured include the 2025 WFNS World Congress of Neurosurgery, the 2025 Asia Pacific Cities Summit, and the 2026 Forever Living Global Rally. These events are expected to bring significant numbers of international delegates to the city’s MICE sector and knowledge economy.
