Inaugurated just a year ago, Karlsruhe’s new fair centre and dm-arena Rheinstetten is operating at a profit, says Karlsruher Messe- und Kongress-GmbH. The key indicators more than doubled compared to 2003. The number of fairs rose from 9 to 21, events from 28 to 67, exhibitors from 1,661 to 3,770. And there were 219,575 visitors in 2003, and 501,003 in 2004. Space increased from 103,844 to 225,951 sqm. www.karlsruhe-kongress.de
