Tokyo Secures Six More International Conferences

Tokyo has secured six major international conferences scheduled for 2027 to 2029. The events cover healthcare, computer graphics, intelligent transportation and software engineering, with a combined expected attendance of more than 19,000 participants.

The new conference wins reinforce Tokyo’s position as an international destination for business events. The announced events range from specialist medical gatherings to technology conferences and exhibitions, bringing together researchers, industry professionals and experts from around the world.

Tokyo strengthens its international business events portfolio

The confirmed events include the joint AONS and ISNCC conference in 2027, expecting 1,050 participants, and the IGCS 2027 Annual Global Meeting, which is projected to attract 4,000 attendees. SIGGRAPH Asia 2027 will bring together around 10,000 participants for a conference and exhibition on computer graphics and interactive technologies. The programme continues with ITSC 2028, focused on intelligent transportation and expecting 1,000 participants, followed by the International Conference on Software Engineering (ICSE) in 2029 with 2,000 attendees and APFSSH 2029, a hand surgery conference for approximately 1,100 participants from across the Asia-Pacific region.
