The Society for Experimental Biology (SEB) successfully held its Annual Conference 2025 from 8 to 11 July at A Room with a ZOO in Antwerp. The event brought together over 1,000 in-person delegates from around the world, with additional participation via digital channels.

Antwerp served as the host city for the 2025 edition of the Society for Experimental Biology (SEB) Annual Conference, which took place from 8 to 11 July at the centrally located venue A Room with a ZOO. In addition to the over 1,000 delegates attending on site, the event was also accessible to remote participants, underscoring SEB’s commitment to hybrid formats and international outreach.

Scientific exchange in a life sciences hub

The conference programme included plenary lectures, symposia, workshops, and networking sessions, providing a platform for interdisciplinary collaboration in the biosciences. Delegates had the opportunity to explore the historic city and engage with Antwerp’s local research and innovation ecosystem, including institutions such as the University of Antwerp, the Institute of Tropical Medicine, and University Hospital Antwerp.
