Based in Mumbai, the Maharashtra Convention Bureau (MCB) serves as a dedicated body to coordinate and facilitate MICE across the state. MCB will work closely with government ministries, city authorities, venue operators, and industry partners to market Maharashtra’s infrastructure—spanning Mumbai, Pune, Nashik, and Nagpur—to global event organizers and delegates.

Integrated Support for Global Business Events

MCB provides administrative assistance, liaison services, and promotional support to event planners, while leveraging the state’s venues such as the Jio World Convention Centre and leading hotel groups. By aligning with Maharashtra’s Tourism Policy 2024, the bureau aims to increase the sector’s contribution to the visitor economy—currently accounting for nearly 15% of India’s GDP—and to secure future events including the International Baccalaureate Congress 2026 and ICANN Annual Conference.
