Las Vegas. With the third edition of IMEX America, the largest meetings industry trade show in the US, due to open on Oct.15 at the Sands Expo® in Las Vegas, organizers have announced the addition of over 80 new booths to this year’s line-up of global and US exhibitors.
The growth in new booths plus a significant rise in demand for more space from previous exhibitors means that overall booth space will have increased by 17% compared to 2012.
New booths have come from every sector and corner of the world including 11 new hotel groups and 24 new destinations and suppliers from across the USA. Other new booths include Emirates Airlines and Jordan from the Middle East, Hyderabad from Asia, the British Virgin Islands and Bahamas from the Caribbean; plus a raft of new technology suppliers.
The increased exhibitor numbers mean that well over 2500 exhibiting companies will line up to do business with thousands of hosted buyers and buyer attendees for the three-day meetings, events and incentive travel industry trade show.
Explains Ray Bloom, IMEX Group Chairman: “Since we closed the doors on last year’s show there has been a steady rise in interest in all aspects of the show, especially from suppliers for increased booth space and from buyers who wish to attend.
