The 63rd ICCA Congress, scheduled for October 20-23, 2024, is set to take place in Abu Dhabi. According to a press release, the decision to choose Abu Dhabi followed a thorough review of exceptional bids from various destinations, all of which displayed strong commitment and creative approaches.

Partnering with the Abu Dhabi Convention & Exhibition Bureau (ADCEB), the event will be hosted at the expansive 133,000 square meter Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC). The venue’s versatility is expected to inspire attendees. The city’s accessibility, top-tier hotel options, excellent transportation links, and various venues for social activities contribute to making the event enjoyable and conducive to networking.

The congress aligns with Abu Dhabi’s Vision 2030 strategy, emphasizing sustainability, education, and career growth, particularly for young professionals in the industry. Senthil Gopinath, ICCA CEO, commends Abu Dhabi’s understanding of the transformative power of international events, highlighting the focus on collaboration and sustainability. He anticipates the congress to be a landmark event.

HE Saleh Mohamed Al Geziry, Director General for Tourism at the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi, expresses the honour of hosting the ICCA Congress. This achievement underscores Abu Dhabi’s emergence as a premier MICE destination, he said, attributed to collaborations with stakeholders like ADNEC and regional partners.
