The Asia Pacific Incentive and Meetings Event (AIME) returned to the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre (MCEC) from February 19 to 21, marking its largest gathering in a decade.
Organized by Talk2 Media & Events and Melbourne Convention Bureau (MCB), the event boasted over 600 buyers, 3500 visitor buyers, and 570+ exhibitors from 33 countries. The Knowledge Program, themed “The 4 Ps of Glocalisation,” sponsored by Nyaal Banyul Geelong Convention and Event Centre, featured prominent speakers and panels.
AIME 2024 aligned with MCEC’s commitment to environmental and community impact, showcasing the newly launched brand for Nyaal Banyul. The event also highlighted Victoria’s offerings through interactive experiences with native ingredients and signature beverages.
Natalie O’Brien AM, Chief Executive of MCEC, and Julia Swanson, Chief Executive of MCB, emphasized AIME’s significance in fostering industry connections and driving outcomes. AIME Event Director Silke Calder credited MCEC for its support in making the event a success.
