Combined, these 50 conventions at the Anaheim Convention Center, 77 meetings and 21 events will generate an estimated $15 million in tourism occupancy tax (TOT) revenue for the city.
These conventions, meetings, and events will welcome over 947,000 attendees to Anaheim, while contributing 610,000 room nights in local hotels.
One of Visit Anaheim’s largest clients NAMM, the National Association of Music Merchants, is kicking off the year with 75,000 attendees and nearly 25,000 room nights – surpassing last year’s figures. This year’s NAMM show is estimated to bring $120 million in economic impact to Anaheim because of attendees dining, shopping and entertaining while in town.
“We’re thrilled that NAMM has called Anaheim home for nearly 50 years,” said Ronnie Collins, Senior Vice President, Sales & Services, Visit Anaheim. “Now that they’re back to their regular programming in January for the first time since 2020, we anticipate a high impact event, building on the rich history and vibrant musical community that they’ve nurtured here in Anaheim.”
