ASM Global, a leading producer of entertainment experiences has been appointmented as the managing operator for Bahrain International Exhibition & Convention Centre. The project is set to complete construction in 2022 and will be the region’s largest exhibition and convention centre on a total site area of 309,000 sqm, according to ASM Global.

The centre will offer a total build-up area of 149,000 sqm, 95,000 sqm of exhibition space over 10 halls, a 4,000-seat tiered auditorium, 95 meeting rooms, Royal & VIP Majlis, supported by event organisers’ offices and a 250-seat capacity restaurant.

ASM Global was appointed by Bahrain Tourism & Exhibition Authority (BTEA) as the managing operator after a tender process. The Centre is currently under construction, with the opening planned for mid-2022. More information can be found by visiting www.bahrainiecc.com.
