7-day-event. Taiwan welcomed a branch of the German-based pharmaceutical company Bayer. Bayer Schering Pharma (China) held its grand annual meeting and dinner party at the Taipei World Trade Center, Nangang Exhibition Hall. Taiwan’s newest exhibition hall was designed to accommodate a variety of event types, from large-scale conferences like Bayer’s to more private engagements such as dinners and meetings. This 7-day event had drawn a total of 2,700 Chinese employees, of which many described as “an unforgettable trip.” Thus this event attracted the largest number of mainland visitors from China ever on a single trip. The Bayer conference has become an annual event at which the company rewards its employees and exchanges information with other industries. Previous conferences were held in Australia, South Africa and South Korea.
