Barcelona. Barcelona’s International Conference Centre (CCIB) has created its own free application for Iphone and Android mobile phones. The aim is to promote the brand and provide a useful tool for organisers and delegates attending events held at the venue. The new application offers a wealth of information; not only about the CCIB but also about the main places of interest in Barcelona. Carolina García, CCIB’s sales and marketing director, says “we wanted to provide our clients and delegates with a useful, flexible, user-friendly, and fully-accessible application. The application can now be downloaded free of charge in four languages (Spanish, English, French, and Catalan), depending on the configuration of the terminal, from Apple’s App Store and Android’s Google play.
