CIC. In response to the overwhelming requests of potential Certified Meeting Professionals CIC has extended the Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) application deadline from August 14, 2009 to September 1, 2009. The non-refundable application fee will remain at 225 USD.
CIC and the CMP Board of Directors are committed to meeting the needs of potential CMPs by extending the application deadline. It the our goal at CIC to support the CMP community in as many ways as it can during these challenging times. It is well known that this is a time when education and certifications will help with job security and placement more than ever. So in combination with the extension CIC will continue to offer the payment plan for the CMP Examination to those candidates who qualify to sit for the Examination.

The application assessment timeframe will remain at approximately 5 weeks for application results to be communicated. The applications will be reviewed in the date order they are received by CIC and candidates will be notified via email of their application status. The January 9th exam registration deadline is October 22, 2009 and will open on October 1st. A reminder email will be sent to all qualified candidates from CIC when the exam registration is open.
