Conference Arena to be postponed by one year

Thursday, 07.04.2022

Due to expected scheduling conflicts in the MICE industry, Conference Arena is postponing the anniversary edition of the fair, scheduled for 19 May 2022, by about a year.

The Swiss trade fair for business events has now been postponed to Thursday, 20 April 2023.

The reason for this decision is, on the one hand, that the World Economic Forum will take place in Davos from 22 to 26 May 2022. A large part of the MICE and event industry is involved there. On the other hand, a large number of postponed events would take place in the already event-intensive months of May and June. Those responsible for the Conference Arena want to help the industry cope with this extra workload as best as possible and are pleased for the industry that action and implementation can now finally be resumed.

The one-year break will be used to expand the existing trade fair format. “The ConferenceArena has always developed further in recent years. It is our concern to continue this success story. In order for us to succeed, we need to find new approaches and adapt Switzerland’s most important industry get-together to the trends within the industry,” says Bianca Markwalder, Managing Director of ConferenceArena LLC.  More information on the expanded concept of the 10th ConferenceArena 2023 will follow soon.
