This month Destination Marketing Association International (DMAI) will launch a new webinar series and online learning center, providing top-quality education for the destination marketing industry through a streamlined, cost-effective channel. One-hour in length, this webinar series will focus on a variety of relevant industry topics and provide attendees with takeaways for improved efficiency and effectiveness. The next upcoming topic is: “Measuring the Buzz – Best Practices in Social Media Analytics and Research” and will start at 8:00 pm CET on 31 March 2010. Description: “It’s all about impact! Learn how to measure, analyze, and report on your social media investment in this case study based webinar. Delving into the tools, reporting, and research options available to DMOs, you’ll learn tips on getting started, what and how to measure, and estimating the impact, engagement, and ROI of your social media. Groundbreaking DMO social media research will be revealed and a best practice white paper will be available to all attendees.” Each webinar will cost US$59 per member site (translation: your entire staff can participate), and US$89 per non-member site.
