Barcelona. Post show research following last year’s global event for the meetings and events industry has confirmed that 57% of Hosted Buyers responsible for placing meetings and 46% of Hosted Buyers responsible for Business Travel who attended EIBTM 2012 were interested in placing business in Germany.
“EIBTM is as much about brand awareness as it is in providing destinations with an opportunity to showcase the top meetings and events facilities in their city. Through exhibiting at EIBTM, suppliers will gain access to a network of over 15,000 meetings industry professionals and over 4,200 Hosted Buyers, all of who have international purchasing power,” said Danielle Keogh, Head of Sales, Meetings and Events Portfolio, Reed Travel Exhibitions. “This allows exhibitors to push their products out into an international meetings arena and position themselves as one of the key players within the European meetings market.”
Last year, EIBTM attracted over 227 exhibiting companies mainly from conference and meetings venues, hotels, destination management companies, destination or event management services who represented Germany.
EIBTM 2013 will take place from 19th – 21st November, a week earlier than in previous years. The EIBTM Forum will take place the day before the exhibition on 18th November.
EIBTM is the annual global meetings and incentive exhibition held in Barcelona, Spain. EIBTM is ABC Audited every year to guarantee that the number of visitors promoted is completely accurate and are unique attendees only.
