Meeting Professionals International (MPI), the global organisation for the meetings and events industry, unveils the agenda for the European Meetings and Events Conference (EMEC) in Luxembourg, 3-5 March 2024.
Now in its 35th year, EMEC prioritises European-centric design, serves as an incubator for ideas and incorporates local influence. Hosted at the European Convention Center Luxembourg, the event will feature plenary speakers, unique learning formats and concurrent educational sessions, with a focus on a hosted buyer programme for business networking.
Luxembourg’s Minister Delegate for Tourism highlights the country’s rich cultural heritage and commitment to sustainability. EMEC promises networking opportunities at Mudam, the Museum of Contemporary Art, and the Big Beer Company, with special celebrations to mark the 40th anniversary of the MPI Foundation.
Learning Journeys offer hands-on experiences linked to professional development. EMEC’s Hosted Buyer Programme facilitates one-to-one meetings between buyers and global suppliers. Attendees can earn up to eleven continuing education units on topics as diverse as generative AI, sustainability and community building.
The event website, www.mpi.org/emec, will provide updates on the programme and education.
EMEC Luxembourg aims to provide a unique and immersive experience for meeting and event professionals, fostering personal and professional growth in unexpected environments.
