Kerrie Kemp, who has over 20 years of industry experience, has joined ExCeL London as Director of Venue Operations. This appointment strengthens the venue’s leadership team for its expansion.

Kemp has worked globally with major event organizers such as UBM and Informa, bringing extensive expertise in both B2B and B2C sectors. Notably, she spearheaded initiatives to reduce disposable stands at events. Kemp, a well-regarded member of the Association of Exhibition Organisers, will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, process improvements, and teams managing event logistics, including traffic, parking, cleaning, and waste. It is worth noting that ExCeL’s ongoing 25,000sqm expansion is set to be completed in October.

“2024 is set to be a game changer for ExCeL”

ExCeL’s Chief Operating Officer Roger Hooker commented: “We’re delighted to welcome Kerrie to our operations team, leadership team and the wider ExCeL family. 2024 is set to be a game changer for ExCeL with the opening of our major expansion programme, our new waterfront development and, of course, our usual packed schedule of world-class events. Kerrie’s experience and knowledge will prove invaluable in delivering these, as well as to utilise her organiser insight to ensure we continue to deliver the very best experience for our clients.”
