On 25 May 2005 construction work started on expanding Congress Centre Hamburg (CCH). On 25 May 2005 construction work started on expanding Congress Centre Hamburg (CCH). It is slated for completion by mid-2006. 25 million euros will be invested in the new 7,000-sqm multipurpose centre and conference area. Then the CCH will offer 12,000 sqm of exhibition space and 23 halls for a total of 16,000 attendees. In construction phase II in 2008 the entrance and facade will be modernised for 15 million euros. www.cch.de
