Frankfurt am Main has been an official Destination Partner of the International Association of Professional Congress Organisers (IAPCO) since 1 January this year. The association represents 180 so-called PCOs – Professional Congress Organisers from 45 countries who plan and organise congresses, conferences and business meetings.

With this partnership, the Frankfurt Convention Bureau (FCB) aims to raise awareness of international association congresses and give further impetus to the “Frankfurt MICE 2030” initiative, which is supported by the FCB, DEHOGA Hessen, Messe Frankfurt Venue GmbH and the Frankfurt Hotel Alliance (FHA).

“All sides will benefit”

“We see networking with the international PCOs as a great added value in the marketing of our destination and are certain that all sides will benefit from this. Many people are already familiar with Frankfurt as the host city of IMEX and due to various location factors such as the airport. We want to show that the Business Hub Frankfurt is also a city worth living in and loving, which is well worth discovering,” says Jutta Heinrich, Head of the Frankfurt Convention Bureau.

Messe Frankfurt has been an IAPCO Venue Partner since 2023.
