Technology. The Americas Meetings & Events Exhibition (AIBTM) announced the addition of a new specialty area called the Future Events Experience at AIBTM 2012. After its successful launch last year at EIBTM the Future Events Experience will become part of a new feature on the AIBTM show floor. Through a partnership with Newtonstrand Innovations Ltd and SyncPartners, AIBTM will provide meeting planners with insights on both current and new technologies that are driving the way events are planned for the future. Future Events Experience will allow attendees to play, touch, feel and experience the newest technology. It features “Chance2Speak”, an opportunity for exhibitors to present their services, “Ask the Experts Panel”, where technology experts discuss relevant topics and will be available for answering questions, “ePosters”, where exhibitors present their services on interactive screens and a networking area “Chance2Meet”. “After such a successful launch at EIBTM, we are pleased to be introducing the Future Events Experieince to this year’s AIBTM programme,” said Craig Moyes, Portfolio Director, IBTM Global Events Portfolio, Reed Travel Exhibitions. “This experimental opportunity allows attendees to get inside innovative technology and take one-on-one guided tours in order to gain a better understanding of how to use the tools of the future of meeting planning.”AIBTM takes place from 19th June – 21st June, 2012.
