Jon Sivertson is to retire from the company at the end of February

Jon Sivertson, CEO of global meetings industry consultancy GainingEdge, is to retire from the company at the end of February 2024. The company’s senior partner, Mike Williams, is acting CEO until a permanent replacement is appointed.

GainingEdge’s Executive Chairman, Gary Grimmer, recognises Sivertson’s role in overcoming the challenges of the COVID pandemic and delivering the best results in the company’s 20-year history.

Sivertson said, “I’ve really enjoyed the work I’ve done at GainingEdge and the great people we have who make the company such a powerful force in our business. I’ll miss GainingEdge very much, but I’m also looking forward to the new challenges I’ve set myself”.
