Luxembourg. Stuart Forrester has been appointed as Executive Director of Historic Conference Centres of Europe (HCCE), the only international association of historic conference centres in the
world. Stuart succeeds John Thompson who will retire having spent nearly four years in the role. Stuart comes with a wealth of industry experience managing events at global brands and more recently Chair of one of the UK’s oldest event associations.

Stuart Forrester says: “I am delighted and very much looking forward to working with HCCE, taking on the challenge which lies ahead and building on the success of John, the HCCE Directors and Members.” He continues: “I believe HCCE is well placed to offer a unique and culturally different group of venues to stimulate and engage delegates. HCCE has a strong brand and every venue within the group are equal in their professional delivery and attention to detail in hosting events.”

The Historic Conference Centres of Europe – HCCE – is a unique marketing focused association, that promotes conference and convention centres in heritage buildings and the culture rich destinations in which they are located.
