Petra Hedorfer was elected new chairwoman of the board by the administrative council of the German Tourist Board (DZT). Hedorfer joined the DZT in 1998 as head of marketing world-wide. On 1 November 2003 she will become the successor of Ursula Schörcher, whose contract then expires as scheduled. www.dzt.de
