Poland. Only a few days ago ended the ICCA Research, Sales & Marketing Programme and Gdansk is already getting ready for the next ICCA conference. Thanks to Gdansk Convention Bureau (GCB) on the 25-27 of August 2011 the annual ICCA CEC Central European Chapter Summer Meeting will take place in Gdansk. Almost 40 persons (top management) representing companies and associations (ICCA Members) will visit Gdansk. We expect delegates from Poland, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Slovenia, Lithuania and Czech Republic. This year ICCA encourage also non members to participate.
The goal of the meeting is to exchange business leads, get to know new destinations, cooperate with the local meeting industry, exchange and share ideas. The organizers prepared good educational programme. This year among the speakers is Anna Gorska, CEO Gdansk Convention Bureau who will take part in the discussion panel on ‘The impact of big events on the destinations’. She will share Gdansk experience on EURO 2012 preparation.
The conference will take place in the Radisson Blu Hotel in Gdansk. It is organized by Teja Tur, PCO (Professional Congress Organizer) recommended by GCB. The delegates will have a chance to participate in the guided city tour, to visit PGE Arena Stadium (newly built), they are invited for a dinner to Brovarnia Gdansk Restaurant. Moreover they will have an opportunity to sail on Motlava River and enjoy dinner at the beach in Bulaj Restaurant in Sopot. There is also interesting programme for accompanying person available that includes visit in Malbork Castle and amber manufacture.

Next year the conference will take place in Dusseldorf, Germany.
