The companies IFEMA Madrid and SERVIS can be pleased about a special award. They have received the Silver Emporia Award in the category “Best Construction for an Event” for their execution of the NATO Summit last year. This award is presented by Veredictas, an organization that manages standards of excellence.

The event was held in an area of 50,000 square meters in Halls 12, 14 and 14.1 of the IFEMA Madrid Recinto Ferial, with another 100,000 square meters of the exhibition center available for a security coordination center, access control and catering areas.

Among other things, 50,000 square meters of carpeting, 83,000 linear meters of cable for communication links and 30,000 meters of power cables were required. The award recognized the overall project management from conception to management of the plans, production, lighting, sound, video management, translation, installation and logistics.
