Dallas. Meeting Professionals International (MPI) launches a training initiative to deliver globally recognized skills and competencies for the meeting and business events industry through unique educational partners worldwide. Leading the industry to gain enhanced recognition, an elevated body of knowledge and standardization of skills, the Global Training program will be hosted at the following universities and educational institutions:

CERAM Business School caters to 2,600 students from over 60 different countries. The following certifications will be offered at CERAM: Global Certificate for Meetings and Business Events II, 11 – 15 January, 2010 and 28 June – 2 July, 2010.  Global Certificate for Meetings and Business Events III,  28 June – 2 July, 2010.

Qatar MICE Development Institute (QMDI): as part of Qatar Foundation, QMDI plays a strategic role working alongside the Qatar Government and industry stakeholders in an advisory capacity to help facilitate the future growth of the MICE sector. QMDI offers impartial MICE industry knowledge for international event organizers proposing to bring events to Qatar and to raise professionalism in the region.
The following certifications will be offered at QMDI: Global Certificate in Meetings and Business Events II, 13 – 17 December, 2009, 14 – 18 February, 2010 and 09 – 13 May, 2010.  Global Certificate in Meetings and Business Events III on 21 – 25 February, 2010 and 16 – 20 May, 2010

As part of MPI’s Global Training – which is a core delivery system for the Global Knowledge Plan – MPI will collaborate with the faculty and professional education community at all schools to deliver a broad range of educational content pertinent to the meetings and events industry with the goal to activate 15 MPI Training Centers for Meetings and Business Events worldwide in the coming 18 months.
