The 5-star Inter Continental Berlin has just

completed the first stage of its modernisation. It will invest a total of around

60 million euros. Recently there was a topping-out ceremony for the extension

with its 54 rooms and suites. And 345 of the total of 584 rooms will be

refurnished. A renovation of the listed facade is also in the offing alongside

an underground carpark with 160 parking spaces. The hotel has 31 meeting rooms
