Chicago. The International Special Events Society (ISES) has elected Brian Acheson CSEP, as its new International President for the 2013/14 year. Brian, founder and owner of VIP Events is a previous President of the ISES Dallas Chapter and has been a member of the International Board of Governors for the past 11 years. He was inaugurated at the association’s Annual General Meeting, which took place during ISES Live in Nassau, The Bahamas, which was attended by over 400 ISES members from around the world.
Commenting on his election, Brian said; “It’s a great honour to be elected as the ISES International President for 2013/14. I take on the role at a very exciting time in our associations’ history, having just launched the inaugural ISES Live, the roll out of our new Brand Strategy and Brand Story and the development of a number of new Chapters around the World. ISES remains the natural home for those within the creative events profession across the globe, and I look forward to continuing to work with other organisations in the sector to promote the value of this incredible and valuable industry”.
Also announced at ISES Live, was the destination for ISES Live 2014, which will be held in Seattle, Washington.
