Congrex. The European Federation of Neurological Societies (EFNS) and the European Neurological Society (ENS) have decided to hold a joint annual congress and then to form a single organisation, the European Academy of Neurology (EAN). Congrex Switzerland proudly announces its appointment as the official Professional Conference Organiser for the Joint EFNS-ENS Congress of 2014 and the 1st EAN Congress in 2015.’

“During the negotiations to hold a single Congress, the EFNS and ENS agreed to appoint Congrex as official PCO for the first joint congress and the first EAN congress” commented Prof. Richard Hughes, President of EFNS, “They have fulfilled this function for the ENS well and have an excellent track record for delivering high quality medical conferences”.

Prof. Zohar Argov, President of ENS, added “Congrex Switzerland has been our official PCO for the ENS Congress in the past, and has managed our Society since 1995. In all the 17 years they have delivered outstanding services.” With more than 7,000 participants planned, the two upcoming Congresses will be the most important conferences in Neurology outside of North America to date.

For Congrex, the appointment as official PCO is yet another example that its 30 years’ of dedication and personal approach to medical associations is being recognised by this community. “We are very proud of the partnership opportunity for the two Conferences in 2014 and 2015.” announced Congrex Switzerland’s Regional Managing Director Alain Pittet. “I am sure that with our in-depth knowledge of organising major medical conferences and our strategic associations’ expertise we will deliver services which will exceed our clients’ expectations.”

More information about the new European Academy of Neurology EAN will be available by autumn 2012.
