The Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre has launched its revamped meeting space, along with the SmartConnect@301 solutions package, catering to event organizers seeking state-of-the-art environments.

The Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC) has recently announced the unveiling of its newly refurbished meeting space, accompanied by a custom-built solutions package named SmartConnect@301. Situated in a secluded corner with panoramic views of the iconic Petronas Twin Towers and the KLCC Park, this area is tailored for event organisers seeking a blend of sophistication and cutting-edge technology.

The revamped space is designed with the Bring-Your-Own-Device (BYOD) culture in mind, seamlessly integrating modern comfort with advanced technological amenities. John Burke, the Centre’s general manager, expressed excitement about the introduction of this innovative space, highlighting its role in meeting the evolving needs of both event organisers and attendees. “This refurbishment marks the latest phase in our ongoing efforts to ensure our product and solutions remain competitive and relevant to the ever-evolving needs of meeting organisers and attendees.”

Among its features are a smart office system, occupancy sensors, an 136-inch LED screen, and an 86-inch interactive display, all aimed at facilitating seamless device connection, content casting, energy conservation, and the transition to paperless meetings.

Complementing these features is the SmartConnect@301 package, which offers a comprehensive suite of solutions, including dedicated food and beverage services and technical specialists. This versatility enables the space to accommodate a wide range of events, from corporate board meetings to social gatherings.

The Centre’s head of technical services, Alifhazwah Mohd. Yahaya, said, “Today’s delegates are tech-savvy and expect venues to cater to their needs.
