The Maritim hotel group will open its first hotel in Düsseldorf at the airport in 2007. It plans to offer 533 rooms and meeting space for 3,500 people. The auditorium will accommodate 2,400 guests, the small hall 1,100. And nine further rooms with 120 to 390 sqm will offer breakout spaces. According to Maritim, the hotel with direct terminal access will be Düsseldorf’s biggest congress hotel. www.maritim.de
