According to the Meetings Statistics for the Year 2011 of the Union of International Associations (UIA) Singapore ranks with 919 meetings number one among the top international meeting countries in 2011, followed by the USA, Japan, France and Belgium. Furthermore Singapore is the number one international meeting city in 2011, followed by Brussels, Paris, Vienna and Seoul.

The report is based on 333,329 events drawn from the International Congress Calendar, the meetings database of the UIA. It includes different sections: Section 1 Statistics for the current year, 2011, Section 2: Five year review, 2007–2011, Section 3: Ten year review, 1997–2006 Section 4: Long-term review, 1856–2005.
